ACER WORKING ON A 15 INCH ULTRABOOK WITH FIBER GLASS CASE

Rumors doing the rounds suggest that Acer is working on a new thin and light laptop with a 15 inch display and a fiberglass case. The device is reportedly being built by Taiwanese OEM Pegatron.

Asus is working on a new thin and light laptop called U82U but it won’t be part of the company’s Zenbook line of ultrabooks. It will have an AMD processor, instead of the Intel Core i-series processors found in ultrabooks. According to Asus, a thin and light laptop with an AMD processor will be more cost effective than a similar ultrabook with an Intel CPU.
